Bark Central Dog Park

You are barking up the right tree here at the Bark Central Dog Park. This 15-acre dog park is located in Inverness, FL off of Turner Camp Rd and it is the perfect private and safe park to allow your dogs to socialize with other dogs as well as be able to exercise. It does not matter if you have a big dog or small dog because there are two gated off areas for the different size. They are all about safety, so everyone is welcome and both areas have the same features. While your pups are getting their ‘zoomies’ out, you can socialize with other members or the staff, they are all friendly and won’t ‘bite’ you, I promise.

This dog park is private, so that means that it does cost money to get in and there are requirements to keep everyone safe. They have different memberships you can chose from, and they are: daily, monthly, semi-annual, and annual. If you just want to take your dog there for the day, it costs $10 and for each additional dog within the same family it cost $5. You do have to go during office hours. When it comes to the semi-annual membership, it cost $150 and for each additional dog in the family is $25. There is a one-time deposit of $10 to get a key so you do not have to show up during office hours. The annual package is $300 and $50 for each additional dog in the family, with the same deposit for the key. Then there’s the monthly membership where it is $30 per month and $5 for each additional dog in the family and, again, has a deposit that is needed. I can personally say I think the annual membership package is the best option to choose from if you plan to make regular visits

What are the requirements for your dog to be able to go in? To start off, your dog must be spayed or neutered with a proof of dated vaccinations, and they must be able to get along well with others. Children under 14 are not allowed in the off-leash areas. You should bring a towel for the ride home because in each park there is a pond that the dogs are able to play in. No one wants a wet dog in their car but watching them have tons of fun in water will put a smile on your face, so a towel is much needed.

Not only is it a dog park, but they also do professional grooming and training. The groomer is Diane Leonardi, and she has more than 30 years of experience. She was a teacher at the New York School of Dog Grooming, so you can trust Diane with your furry friend. She also does cat grooming too. Don’t worry about your pet being in a kennel all day with a bunch of barking going on, they will be provided for with very high standards and come out with a fresh cut. Then there is the dog spa your dog can attend. There is the do-it-yourself option with their supplies ($7 for day visitors, $5 for members), the do-it-yourself with your supplies ($5 for day visitors, $3 for members), or they can do it for you (small dogs are $15, medium dogs are $20, large dogs are $25, and extra-large dogs are $35). The training they have is ran by Pamela Wiltgen of the Far Fetched Tales Dog Training. There is currently one option to choose from for your pup on August 5, 2021, where she teaches basic obedience. Maybe it’ll be your dog’s first step in earning their masters at obedience school! For more information click the box below.
