Whether you enjoy the personal connection, the contracts and negotiations, or the marketing aspect you will have ample opportunities to research and implement new ways of doing things to improve yourself and your business. In many cases, your brokerage or team will provide you with resources and support you through the learning process.

As opposed to traditional salaried careers where you might not always get back what you put in to a company, real estate is quite different in that aspect. You are an independent contractor, meaning that even though you are affiliated with a brokerage, you essentially work for yourself. This means that you do have flexibility with your schedule, but it also means that you are responsible for your production and success.

#4 | You significantly impact people’s lives.

Purchasing a home or selling a home is a very personal milestone in customers’ lives. How you handle the transaction and connect with your customers will stick with them long after they are settled into their new home.
